GLUBINA is an art community created by artists Svetlana Demina and Yulia Nazar in 2022, which includes independent artists from different cities in Russia and abroad. Many residents of the art community - graduates of the Faculty of Contemporary Art from the workshops of Arseny Zhilyaev, Ivan Novikov, Alina Gutkina, Nikolay Alekseev, studied at the IPSI.
The philosophy of self-organization is in-depth research in the field of metaphysics, philosophy, bodily practices, and community.
GLUBINA authors work in various mediums and directions of contemporary art: painting, sculpture, installations, performance, photography, ceramics, graphics, poetry, and strive for maximum synthesis and unification.
Our peculiarity is joint creativity, the interweaving of mediums, the search for experimental forms of interaction, the combination of modern philosophical concepts and art.
POETIC MANIFESTOGlubina (literally translated - "depth") is ritual swims and dives for meaning. A flock of divers goes to/the depth/thunderstorm/risk/investigation/substitute what you need, fumbles along the bottom, erases their fingers, calling and looking for/digging up precious grains right in front of the public, inviting them to excavation, in the hope of stumbling upon something... something common and valuable to everyone. This is a search by touch.
Glubina - these artists, having prayed to the black square, looked into the abyss, brought an amphora and Uuuuuu-hum we pass on what they have tested (shaking glasses).
Glubina is its story: such normal artists, who thought of themselves as deep, went along without bothering anyone, but were drawn (stared?) deep into the black square and now invite the viewer on an excursion into the abyss...
Glubina is questions and absolute silence.
